I watched 20/20 with Barbara Walters special on "Heaven". I thought it was very good, but there are a lot of boneheads our there. I was proud of Ted Haggard in his stand on the Biblical view of Heaven. I was also proud to learn from the Dali Lama that my overly obese dog Winnie will be reincarnated as a dung collecter in a underfunded innercity zoo (you see she has been bad - with the tearing up of dirty diapers and all) Just kidding. I was surprised to see that there was a camp for kids who don't believe in God (agnostics). What songs do they sing there? That must be pretty lame - sitting around pounding into them NOT to believe in God and NOT to believe in Heaven. I think I'd rather go to Band Camp. And the Muslim who believed there would be 72 virgins there waiting on him - too bad he didn't read the Koran which doesn't speak of that AT ALL. The Koran actually says (and was said on the show) that those who kill the innocent and/or commit suicide will NOT go to heaven. I'm just glad they didn't interview Joel Osteen after his poor testimony and weak stance (and poor Bible knowledge) in his interview with Larry King. Check it out on CNN's website. Who was that commedian Rabbi on the show that was talking about all the guys in heaven being homosexuals except you. He also said you could eat all the pastrami you wanted. YUCK!!! anyway i liked the show and it challenged me to read my Bible and find out again exactly what Jesus and others actually said about Heaven. Thanks. Oh yeah........Justin Ross is one handsome devil. hahahaha

I just finished watching it as well. I was surprised, I did not think I liked Ted Haggard, but I really do. He is a sharp guy.

The Dali Lama always makes me laugh. I wonder what kind of tests he had to pass at 3 years old for them to figure out he was Buddha?

Isn't it interesting how the atheists are turning no religion into a religion of their own? Now they have no-god camps? The dumbest thing said on the whole show was the crazy woman who does not believe in God saying that if you tell her there is a green man standing outside; it is up to you to prove it to her. And you are devoting your life to the worldview that there is not God? Come on. I don't believe in Bigfoot, but there are many people that do. I just roll my eyes at them and live my life. I would never make it my life's goal to prove to them that Bigfoot does not exist. Sounds like to me that she is threatened by something.

I agree with what you are saying about Joel Osteen. Did you hear that his wife got in a disagreement with a flight attendant and got herself and Joel kicked off the plane? The FBI escorted them off and the plane was delayed almost an hour while the airline pulled their bags off the plane. True story.
